Brian Tams passed away this afternoon 10th Feb 20 of a suspected Heart attack Brian was the treasure of 5 Fd Amb. 

Our thoughts and Prayers are with Brian's Wife and Family.

 Funeral Details:

Brian’s funeral will be held next Friday 21st February, at 10am in the Greenway Chapel and Memorial Garden, 460 Avoca Dve., Green Point NSW then afterwards at their Retirement Village “Brentwood” Community Hall at 1 Scaysbrook Dve., Kincumber (go through the main entrance—Parking may present a problem).

Brian will be given a RSL Tribute by his RSL Sub Branch (Gosford RSL).

Any 5 Fd Amb Assn members who may be able to attend please wear your Medals and Name Badge.

 

SOAH Reunion July 3-4 2020

The Schools of Army Health Reunion

The Schools of Army Health Dinner and Corps Birthday brings back memories of the Corps weekend.  However not many of us can do a Cerelator nowadays, but a catch up and dinner gives us all an opportunity to get together and remember the good times we had at the Schools of Army Health.  It also gives us the benefit of meeting new members of the School of Army Health and enjoying new fun times with slides of old times, music and a door prize. 

Friday 3 July 2020 

Time:  6.00pm – Meet and Greet 
Venue:  SS&A Club, 570-582 Olive Street, Albury 
Finger food will be provided 
Cost:  $25 per person
Dress:  Casual

Saturday 4 July 2020 

Time:  TBA - Health Services Memorial and Bandiana Museum 
Visit the memorial and museum other activities to be advised.

Time:  6.30pm – Dinner and Corps Birthday
Venue:  SS&A Club, 570-582 Olive Street, Albury 
Dinner:  Three course meal (alternate drop), with Tea and Coffee
Cost:  $60 per person
Dress:  Cocktail

Payment

To reserve your place at these functions you can either pay the full amount or pay in two instalments (eg deposit and final payment).  A non-refundable deposit of $25 per person is required by 1 December 2019 and the final payment of $60 per person is to be paid by 20 April 2020

Payments can be made via direct deposit into the Victorian RAAMC Association Westpac bank account, BSB: 033372 Account Number: 412250.  Please ensure you include your name on the transfer and email raamcvic@hotmail.com.au with the date you paid along with your name, address and the number of people attending.  If you wish to attend only one function please indicate which function you are paying for. 

Alternatively, payments can be made with Bank cheques or money orders made out to the Victorian RAAMC Association and sent to: Treasurer, c/- 2 Mistletoe Close, Knoxfield, Vic 3180.   Please ensure you include your email if you have one, name, address, which event and the number of people attending.   No personal cheques will be accepted.  

Please advise if you have any special dietary requirements.  

All attendees shall receive a ticket either to their email address or at the door on the night.  Processing of payments/tickets may take time, so please be patient.
 
 
1 Mil Hosp Reunion

To all members the 25th 1 Military Hospital Closure Anniversary Reunion is a GO!
Venue, Saturday 2 October 1900 hrs Howard Smith Wharves.
Cost, $100.00, which consists of a 3 hour Food and Drink Package, a Door Prize. The package consists of 3 hot and 3 cold Canapes + 2 Substantial Canapes and your Drinks for 3 Hours ( I say again this is a FOOD and Drinks Package, our last Reunion at the Broncos was $65.00 and you payed for your drinks on top of that}
On Sunday 3 October we will be holding a Memorial Service and B-B-Que at our Memorial Tree on the River bank at Yeronga, I am hoping that we will have a few Dollars left from the main event to supply meat for B-B-Que, a time yet to decided on.
Please remember you have until the end of August 2021 to pay your money, so no hurry but could all members who are interested or coming please say so in area provided.
Members please click on get tickets and you will be directed to where you pay for your ticket. This system keeps a running total of tickets sold, who is coming and interested parties. I will also put up a list of those members who are coming and interested at monthly intervals.
I hope as many of you come and make this a night to remember, I said last year when I decided to organize this that I wanted to make it a Food and Drink package and that is what we have organized for you all. Now I know some members may have Allergies to certain foods etc. mine being Garlic, so could anyone with Food Allergies please indicate in the comments section and we will endeavor to liaise with the management at the Venue to come up with safe foods.
